I keep meaning to type up my recipes from last weekend. I really do.
I had a few last minute freelance projects this week, and I’m punching out infographics at the day job like it’s my day job. So hopefully, I’ll have a few minutes free this weekend to type them up and put together a few posts. There was a fabulous quiche and mini pumpkin bread loaves that I brought on a fall sail last weekend (big hit with the Babingtons!) and I have a great braised beet dish for your Thanksgiving prep.
Anyway — I’m so glad we got a fall sail in when we did, because, in typical DC fashion, fall left as quickly as it arrived. Last weekend was absolutely beautiful. The leaves are changing, light jackets were all we needed, and a breeze swept us through the Magothy River in Maryland.
Then Monday hit. Bam! It’s basically winter. I broke out the powder blue, knee length coat. Today, I wore tights. My core, arms, legs, hands and feet were toasty. My face was cold. It was fabulous.
But not as fabulous as this fall sail. Hope you enjoy the photos of some of my beautiful friends!
Have a lovely weekend, and stay warm :)
